Alki Sharing & Caring “The Giving Tree”

Alki Sharing and Caring (Giving Tree) Project – This is one of the few projects in which we work closely with the staff and students of Alki. The project starts in November and runs through the first part of December.

This year’s chairperson of the Giving Tree is Andi Shepherd.

Sharing & Caring 2020 – We’re doing things a little different this year

Alki Sharing & Caring Virtual Tag sign ups

What:  Every November students at Alki are given the opportunity to select a tag from our designated trees to donate specific items to families in need. We did not want to lose the event so this year we are hosting a virtual giving tree using the program Sign up Genius.

Sign up here:  Click on this link to sign up for a “virtual tag” https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040F4FADAD29ABF49-sharing1

Feel free to sign up for more than one tag. If you scroll to the bottom of the sign up you may also sign up to donate gift cards, laundry soap, or toilet paper.

***NEW this year:  email us to make arrangements to pay via VENMO and have The Giving Tree Committee purchase your gift for you!!  http://alkigivingtree@gmail.com

How do I drop off my item?  We will be collecting donated items on December 2nd, 7th and 9th from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM and December 5th from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM in the drop off zone at Alki.

Do I need to wrap my gifts?  No, we will have volunteers wrap all gifts. Please label your gift with the color and number that you signed up for and attach any gift receipts.
